Day Four – Masterpiece

Scripture: Ephesians 2:10.  J.B. page 1774. 

Observation.  This verse is written to those who believed in Jesus and have confessed Him to be Lord and Savior.

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”    Ephesians 2:10

Another version puts it this way, “For we are God’s masterpiece.  He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”  (New Living Translation).

Application.  God has defined you as His MASTERPIECE.  You are His one-of-a-kind work of art.  He put you together.  He formed You.  He defined You.

If God created and defined you and calls you His MASTERPIECE, then that is what you are.  Do not let anyone redefine you.  You belong to God.

He has chosen you and will use you to accomplish big things.  Did you see that part, “so we can do good things that he planned for us long ago?”  God did that.  He created you.  He defined you – MASTERPIECE.  And He gives you a purpose – to do good things that he planned for us long ago.

Prayer.  God, thank you for creating me.  Thank you for defining me.  Use me for good today!  I love You.
