Observation.  What does Jesus say about Himself?

And if we follow Him we will not walk in _____________________.

Application.  To walk in darkness is to do what is right in your own eyes instead of what is right in God’s eyes.  The evaluation of right and wrong does not come from ourselves nor from the world around us.  Right and wrong, darkness and light, truth and lies are all determined by God.  Truth does not change based on the circumstance.

Is there an area of your life that you do not have integrity?  You need to confess that to God today.  Get specific.  Let God do work in your heart and shine light in any dark places in our lives.

Prayer.  God, You are the light.  Shine your light brightly into my life.  If there is any area of my life that does not please You, show me.  Tell me.  I need You to change me.
